Thee concept is inspired by two very senior members of the region, Brigadier(Dr.) BPS Khati (VSM), an airborne special forces maverick who being an adventure freak has 35 years of experience in adventure activities, mountaineering, aero-sports. He has a master’s degree and a doctorate in tourism management and now heads an equally motivated team to share our experiences with seekers of all hues. His in-depth knowledge of Himalayan geography, the cultural spread and folklore is a delight. He has already authored two books on sustainability & tourism which are models for a futuristic way to sustainable tourism, the KAIZEN WAY for economic growth, HR & environmental practices, taking the Himalayas/Uttarakhand as working models. A mentor par excellence.

Shri Yashpal Chauhan is yet another gem, avid story teller seeker and cultural encyclopedia on local culture belonging to the same region. He has been working with the local populace since his childhood and as such has a good knowledge of the various sites their history legend & lore ,tribal ritual’s and practices. Yashpal is an individual living model of the unique Jaunsari culture and way of life.
